1. About these terms
These terms apply to the one-time purchase of MyBB Chat through MyBB Plugins. The plugin page, these purchase terms and the plugin licence describe what you are buying and how you may use it.
By completing checkout, you confirm that you are authorised to make the purchase and agree to these documents.
2. Price and payment
The price and currency shown on the plugin page and at checkout are the price for a one-time purchase, not a recurring subscription. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Review the total shown by Stripe before confirming payment.
An order is complete only after Stripe confirms successful payment. A cancelled or incomplete checkout does not create a purchase or download entitlement.
3. Digital delivery and account access
After payment is confirmed, the plugin ZIP is made available through the MyBB Plugins account used at checkout. Payment confirmation can take a short time to reach the site.
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If a payment is refunded, reversed or disputed, access to the paid download may be suspended or removed while the payment status is unresolved.
4. Compatibility and installation
Check the compatibility, requirements and installation information on the plugin page before purchasing. You are responsible for maintaining a current backup and testing the plugin safely before using it on a live forum.
Compatibility statements apply to the versions and requirements listed when you purchase. Changes to MyBB, PHP, Node.js, hosting, browsers or other third-party services may affect later compatibility.
5. Updates and support
Your purchase includes the version available when the purchase is completed. If later versions are made available through the same listing, they will appear with your paid download access.
Unless the plugin page expressly says otherwise, a purchase does not promise a particular update schedule, support period, response time or continued compatibility with future third-party releases.
6. Cancellations, refunds and statutory rights
MyBB Chat is supplied as digital content. Any cancellation or refund request will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the information provided at checkout.
If applicable law gives you a withdrawal period, it begins when the purchase contract is agreed. You can exercise that right within the applicable period by sending a clear cancellation statement using the merchant contact details shown at checkout or on your Stripe receipt or invoice. A withdrawal right will end early only where the law allows and any required express consent and acknowledgement have been obtained.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited, including rights that may apply when digital content is faulty, not as described or not supplied.
7. Responsible use
You must use the plugin lawfully and in accordance with its licence. To the extent permitted by law, MyBB Plugins is not responsible for loss caused by an unsupported environment, an improper installation, unauthorised changes or a failure to keep suitable backups.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
8. Changes to these terms
The version of these terms available when you complete a purchase applies to that purchase. The terms may be updated for future purchases, but an update will not remove rights that have already arisen under applicable law.
