MyBB Conversations

MyBB Conversations replaces MyBB's traditional private-message inbox with a modern, conversation-focused messaging experience. Members can view messages as organised conversations, each with its own subject, participants, avatars, unread status, archive state and custom folders. New replies remain within the existing conversation instead of creating another native PM, keeping the inbox clean and easier to manage.

• Modern conversation-based PM interface
• Separate conversations with different subjects
• Subject-aware legacy PM grouping
• Automatic upgrade of legacy conversations when replied to
• Custom folders with unlimited folder support
• Search, sorting, unread, archived and group views
• Member autocomplete with avatars and initials fallback
• Optional exclusion of banned members from autocomplete
• Pinned and archived conversations
• Keep-in-view mode with independently scrollable panels
• Auto-scroll to the latest message
• Modern success toast notifications
• MyBB permissions, MyCode and smilies support
• ForgedBase-style Admin CP settings
• Safe uninstall confirmation and preservation of native PM records
